women constitute half ofthe world’s population and play a more active in cultural and family matters on the other hand. The continuation of national independence depends heavily on economic development, which is one the three pillars on which the Iranian revolution of 1979 was based. So, studying place and role of women indevelopment was decided important. The aim of the study is to show the degree to which the family is effective in orienting women to the labor market and the level of responsibility that they can obtain in that market An attempt is made to identi1 factors affecting women’s employment and to determine the contribution of each factors. Un fortunately, currently women constitute only nine percent of the labor fair there fore , this research may help to reduce to negative factors affecting woman’s employment. Significance of the uroblem Iran is at crossreads today, She eithe an continue with her economic dependence to the world economic system, and therefore put her natural and economic resources on sale, or should, insisting in her independence, make profond changes in many aspects of its society. If political independence is considered a religious obligation, and political independence can only happen when economic and cultural independence have been achieved, then it becomes necessary to know. about the obstacles to independence, Since women play an important role in cultural and family matters by providing education and seip. Knowledge to youth, studing their contributions to the process of development becomes necessary. Occupation is one of the major roles in today’s society which not only pro economic. Social and psychological rewards to the person, but also specifics position in social structure and affects the situation of others. Woman’s employment is a process which facilitates the passage from dependence to independence. It also has an undeniable effect on forces which affect progress. It is obvious that reducing the rule of population growth, the reduction of the income gap among different social strata, the elimination of illiteracy, socio economic development are related to woman’s employment Further more, women employment will increase social general welfare.
